Denispé is gearing up for another year of great performances!
Several events we will be presenting at this year, namely at the OUF! Festival OFF Castelier in March (Nuit Blanche!).
Gernika, by DeniSpé is a short performance integrating choreography and marionettes based on Picasso’s mural Guernica.

AUGUST/AOÛT 2017
AIR Fest a été super! Plusieurs pièces de genre très variès et en plus le beau temps avait persisté puisque les performances ont pris lieu dehors.
C’mon Montréal, sérieusement un Rodéo?! est une performance courte (20 min) et inspirée des styles butoh et flamenco en réponse à l’idée absurde et sérieusement non cool d’un rodéo à Montréal pour son 375e. La tête de cheval a été généreusement construite avec diligence par Denis, ayant tiré son idée du murale de Guernica de Pablo Picasso.
During the weekend of the Montreal rodeo, we went out to Old Montreal to do a symbolic and silent protest of this event. Among the tourists and hundreds of visitors in this sector, we walked a slow trajectory beginning from the Clock Tower and ending across from the trailers where the horses were kept.
